Letter Holding Company (LHC) is a mail forwarding service, funded by our patron's donations, which provides a way for individuals to mail messages to themselves (or others) in the future!

How does it work?
It's a simple as mailing us an envelope containing your letter. See our instruction page

After receiving your letter (envelope) to the future, we store it in a secure location.
On the date you specify, your envelope is placed in outgoing mail.
Your letter will be received by the recipient within a few days.
Why mail a letter to the future?
Like stars in the heavens, there are innumerable reasons to mail a letter to the future!
Here are just a few reasons:
(1) To send yourself a time capsule in the form of a letter.
(2) To hold yourself accountable to the goals you make.
(3) To send out all of your birthday, anniversary, or Mother's day cards ahead of time
so you don't forget. (Like I do!)

IT IS FREE! Though we highly encourage you to include a holding fee, we will hold
your letter and mail it on the date you specify for NO CHARGE.
