On the piece of paper, write to your future-self, a friend, or a loved one.
(This is the letter they will receive in the future.)

to send a letter to in the future. Stick a stamp in the upper right corner.

3. Insert your letter inside Envelope 1. Seal Envelope 1.

4. Write the date you want your letter mailed on the back of Envelope 1.

5. On the front of Envelope 2, in the center, write our address as follows:

Letter Holding Co.
PO Box 519
Parker, WA 98939

6. Stick a postage stamp on the upper right corner of Envelope 2.

7. Fold Envelope 1 and inserted it into Envelope 2.

Tips:

Use USPS forever stamps when placing a stamp on your self addressed envelope.
These are guaranteed to work now and in the years to come even if postage rates increase.

US mail typically takes 4 - 5 days for a letter to arrive- so if you want a letter to show up before someone's birthday, mark it
to be mailed 4 - 5 days before their birthday.

Use a smaller envelope (Envelope 1) for your letter to the future then the outer envelope (Envelope 2) you mail us.
This allows you to insert the smaller envelope into the larger without having to fold your letter to the future.

Think your envelope may be too heavy for one stamp? Throw an extra one on if your letter to the future contains
more than 3 or 4 sheets of paper. (Or ask your local postal clerk if you need an extra stamp.)
